After more than a year's Oral-Motor training, my son's articulation has improved a lot. The sentences that he uses are longer. With the other strategies that Ms. Louisa Wong uses, my son has more confidence to communicate with others, and his expressive language has improved. Thanks Ms. Wong for her teaching and profession.

After Hau Chung has received Oral-Motor Therapy, his speech intelligibility has been improved. Treatment effectiveness could be better if Hau Chung can improve in rate of speech and attention.

Tin's language is a bit weak since born, and he has drooling problem. I used to think that his drooling problem is due to the loss of his tooth-front teeth, but no, it's because of his weaker lips and jaw. “Saliva spilling” problem affect Tin's social communication directly. After about 2-3 months of Oral-Motor Therapy, he“sprays” less saliva while talking, and has decreased in the amount of drooling. Moreover, with the help of Speech Therapy, Tin has improved in his language organization and expressive language skills. There is a time when he looks at a picture, create and tell a story spontaneously!

My son Edward was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay with Autism when he was 2 years and 3 months.
He did not have comprehensible speech until he was 3, but his speech repertoire was limited to 5 to 8 single words. He was suspected to have Speech Apraxia as well as other issues.
He have had a lot of intervention both educational and biomedical that helped him in the global picture.
When I learned about Louisa Wong and TalkTools/ Muscle-Based Therapy I was lucky to get an appointment with her straight away. In just 4 months that we are under her treatment Edward's speech is much clearer and his vocalization is louder. Edward's confidence exudes that he basically try to verbalize everything that he wants and needs. He can say 3 to 4 words in a sentence consistently.
SRJ method is working! All of Edward's therapists (OT, PT, SP, VT(Vision Therapist)) and teachers in school noticed the big difference in his speech. These are the people that have been working with him for years, even his Speech Apraxia ----- according to Louisa it could be a Muscle Weakness and once SRJ Program was part of his intervention , with only 4 months the child has an intelligible and comprehensible speech.
Louisa Wong is a much gifted Speech Therapist - I am so lucky to have found her to be my son's team of professional therapists.
She makes my son loves to work with her, and Thursdays are fundays for him.

Since starting the therapy more than 1 year ago, we can see great improvements with our son specially with his articulation. We can understand his words better now and he gets less frustrated when he tries to talk to us because he can verbalise it now.
His jaw muscles has been strengthened with the different exercises done at home daily. He actually enjoys doing the exercises tooo.
Everytime he has a session, he enjoys it because he looks forward to choosing different toys to play with Louisa which makes the therapy session more fun!
